NYE in Victoria
I rung in the new year in Victoria with Chelsea and Lisa. I adore both these ladies, the Island, and ferry rides. Win, win, win. Spotting Orca whales from the boat was the icing on the cupcake.
This was Chelsea's first visit to Victoria so we made sure to take her shopping downtown and on a walk along the Breakwater.
Lisa took us to the top of Mount Douglas to poetically watch the sun set on 2014. It was an incredible lookout spot — we could see all the way to Mount Baker!
On the way home we met two interesting people. The first was a guy who offered a drawing he had just sketched of us on the ferry from a distance. Equal parts strange and awesome. The second was a lovely lady who used my camera to take a photo of Chelsea and I together then proceeded to convince me I must start using my film SLR cameras again. I think she's right.
Thanks for hosting us Lisa!!
