Box Canyon, CA

I just got back from a fantastic trip! For the past nine days, I travelled, hiked, volunteered, and relaxed alongside a group of TWU students in the Southwestern United States. Rather than one huge post, I'm going to break up the trip into pieces.

We flew into Las Vegas and drove across the desert to the Coachella Valley in California. On our first full day, we hiked Box Canyon. It was a really great warm up hike because it was short and super different from the PNW.

I didn't know any of my travel companions going into the trip, but we got along splendidly. They're a really great group of people!
