Derek & Philip - Heritage Hall Wedding

Derek and Philip’s wedding was a big day. They wanted to include the traditions of both of their cultural backgrounds and all the family and friends who travelled to celebrate with them. The day started with Phillip and his groomsmen negotiating with Derek’s groomsmen through a series of dares to gain entrance to Derek’s house. They had to shoot hot sauce, pass over envelopes of cash, and come up with a song and dance number. This was followed by a tea ceremony to honour their family members who were there in support of their marriage. We did portraits at the Cleveland Dam then headed to Heritage Hall on Main Street for the ceremony and reception. It was a really beautiful day that celebrated the groom’s love for each other.
