MUSIC CREATION

When I was picking out my courses for this semester, I had room for one extra elective course in my schedule. Basically, I could take anything. So I asked around and heard a lot of different opinions before finally deciding on Intro to Digital Recording. It's a class that teaches how to use Cubase, MIDI files, and audio recording to create music. I'm not going to lie, I felt a bit freaked out. I was a band nerd in high school, but haven't touched a musical instrument in years.

Well, long story short, I learned how to play a few things on the key board via youtube, called in a few favours, and created some music. It was actually a lot of fun and I'm pretty happy with the results, though it is by no means perfect.

What do you think, can I consider myself a musician now?
