Keats Island

On the weekend, Natalie, Lisa, Kirk, and I joined Braden at his families cabin on Keats Island.

Keats is home to Barnabas Conference Centre, Keats Camp, and a neighbourhood of private cabins. It took two boat rides and mini hike to reach our destination, but that just added to the adventure.

We spent the majority of our time hanging out in the sun on the dock. I don't do well with deep water (irrational fear of whales), so I was super proud of myself for participating in the swimming. Witnesses claim I made way too big of a deal about it, but that's just rumours.

Braden took us up to a viewpoint from which we had a great view of the Sunshine Coast, Gambier Island, and Bowen Island, then down through the woods to Pebble Beach.

It was so generous of the Jones family to share their wonderful cabin with us. I felt so lucky to be able to spend the time with this little group.
