Canon Beach with Nettle's Tale

I've been dreaming of visiting Canon Beach for years. The miles of sandy beach, the flawless horizon line, and Haystack Rock looming out of the mist... I'd seen all these things a million times before in photos, but I needed to see them for myself. During my visit to Oregon in August I finally got my opportunity.

The beach was absolutely beautiful and just warm enough to feel comfortable running around in my Misty one-piece from Nettle's Tale. I took these photos for an Instagram takeover that appeared last week.

Sadly, I think this is officially the last of my summer time posts. However, I love the transition seasons and the promise the bring of new beginnings. I'm truly looking forward to the changing of leaves and crisp mornings, early sunsets and cooler nights, layers and coffees... and my camera will be there to capture it all.
