Gastown Wedding on 35mm Film

I'm smack dab in the midst of a busy wedding season. I shoot weddings on my Nikon D600, but this year I'm also ensuring a few of the moments are captured on film. These shots bring a totally different vibe to the photo collection and I'm excited to show the results.

Meredith & Kenji got married in the heart of Gastown at L'Abattoir. It was classy and intimate with old Hollywood details and a small guest list of their closest friends and family.

Between the ceremony and reception, the wedding party roamed the neighbourhood in their glamorous attire while I ran after them with my cameras. They were such a beautiful spectacle!

Special shout out to that amazing gown Meredith wore and the perfect green bouquets created by Kaye Fleur. Plus, a bride who is stoked to have me experiment with film on her wedding day!
